The list of free items below is the culmination of two years of using freeware. The list is not very large because as the old saying goes you get what you pay for. However I have personally used this freeware and believe it is worth using if you are unable to purchase the cutting edge.
Free stuff is good for the soul. I don't care who you are, or how much money you make, a little charity makes your day. And with that spirit in mind here are some cool links and just plain free stuff.

Firefox is my browser of choice. It has more features and works better for me than the rest. This browser is a powerhouse for the web developer and the social networker with some very impressive applications.
